Numantra gets the whole town involved with Carter BloodCare

The primary provider of blood to North Texas, Carter BloodCare needs 1100 units of blood PER DAY to keep up with demand. That equates to approximately 3000 potential donors! Carter BloodCare asked Numantra to provide the strategy, execution and complete delivery of a new look and brand image. Research and collaboration with the client provided the insight needed to develop a strategy and the media needed to execute. Since Carter BloodCare relies on the donations of over 1,100 people every day,  we brought together several of these “every day” heroes to help deliver the message to the rest of the community that blood donations save lives.  The spots run as 15-second bookends so that every commercial break begins and ends with a message from the town’s blood donors.

Carter BloodCare needed a fresh and friendly website to replace their old, cluttered and inefficient site. Numantra reorganized the site to make it more intuitive for users. We also gave it friendlier copy and a bright new look. Additionally we created interactive pages to engage their donors and clientele more readily. We designed a page to specifically interact with High School students to increase what is known to be a life-long participation if started and committed early. With this, an ever-increasing number of High School Seniors now receive their “Red Cord” along with their diploma at commencement. Television and radio campaigns were developed to embrace the donor community and to remind them that they save lives right in the midst of their own busy life.

Results: Now over 1,100 life saving units per day and North Texans have what they need.
